Missy thought we were going out to dinner for her birthday.....but ha we surprised her!! Amber Turner and I threw her a surprise party! Her closest friends from both our wards were there. It was a fun night of food, mormon margeritas, and presents. Missy's reaction was hilarious. She rounded the corner and everyone yelled surprise!!! Then she just stared at us. Our chatty friend had nothing to say.
Kaylee and Angela are always so fun!
Missy you have such gorgeous friends! Krisen and JaCoy up top and Marquessa and Wynette below.
Missy is such a great friend to all. She really loves her friends, and is always available to lend an ear when you need her. She offers awesome advice and really lets you be you around her. She's always up for going out to lunch, shopping, partying, or having fun. She brightens a room just by being there. I am going to miss her more than I can stand. Love you girl!!

There's a DEACON in the house!!
Twelve is such a big birthday! I'm so proud of Carter and all he continues to do. He is such a great example to his brothers and sister. He's very responsible, reliable, and helpful. He turned 12 recently and received the Priesthood. I thought I would be more emotional about this, but it all felt very normal and like it was the next step. Carter is ready for more. More responsibility, more growth spiritually, more expectations, more social interactions, and more knowledge. Your future is bright little man!
Time for campouts and better camping gear for Scouts! Carter got this great backpack and a compact sleeping bag and sleeping mat. He also got a video game and a lego set. Hanna picked out a nice flashlight for his scouting gear for him.
For his family party I made him the "Incredibly, Dreadful, Dessert" (self-named by Carter)!
Three boys in Carter's primary class turn 12 in the same week. So they decided to do a combined party this year. It was great for the boys and moms as we got to divide up the prep work. The Eckersleys were so generous to host in their awesome backyard.
I took on the assignment of cake for the party. I had so much fun making these! Look closely......These are hamburger cupcakes, and sugar cookie frenchfries. Thank you "Bakerella" (and my friend Mary!)
They had a real BBQ before we at the sugar hamburgers!
Bridger Nebeker, Jacob Eckersley, and Carter Chugg --Birthday Boys!!
Bridger Nebeker, Chandler Juilfs, Jacob Eckersley, Wesley White, Carter Chugg, Owen Lott, Clark Stuart, and Mitchel Oldham.
Yeah....the Eckersleys know how to do a back yard! Look out for Kung Fu Clark.
