Soccer Champs
My friend Brandy and I have been playing on a co-ed soccer team for the past few months. It has been a lot of fun, challenging and entertaining. These European guys really take it serious and it almost comes to fist fighting just about every game. I haven't played outdoor soccer for years so its been a big change for me. (And yes I realize this is not the most flattering picture of me). In my defence we just played a game and won the Championship!!

Guess who found their toes??
Cole found his toes about a month ago. I still find it so adorable every time I change his diaper on his changing table that he immediately goes for them. Babies are just so cute!

Love that fuzzy hair!

One last chance to wear the precious brown hat....we had a last few days of cold (in the 40's) a few weeks ago.

Can you feel the excitement?
Soccer days are here again.....my professional photographer friend Sarah caught Carter's goal on camera! It was an exciting game. Jared and Sarah's husband (who happens to be our bishop) are coaching this season. It was fun to see Jared in action. (I didn't feel like I could take on one more thing right now). It was very nice to just show up and be a mom/fan! Great game Serpents!April 16, 2009
Jack

This is Jack. He lives by us and carpools with us every morning. One day I had the primary CD playing that the Primary Presidency made for us with all of the songs for the program this year. It contains the articles of faith songs. Jack informs me he is working on number 11. What? Jack is Jakes age and in kindergarten. If Jack can do it so can the rest of my kids. Okay, maybe Josh and Cole are off the hook! Anyway, I have listened to these songs over and over. I finally learned them all myself. You'd be surprised how easy it is if you just work on them driving around. Now every morning we listen to them on the way to school. The 8 minute drive is plenty of time to run through which ever one we are trying to pass off. All because of Jack....you have inspired us to try a little harder.
Vacaville
Carter loves his two best friends from California. Dustin and Andrew. Since they were on break the same time we were Carter and I got to spend 4 fun filled days there! Carter was excited/nervous to fly since he hasn't flown since he was four and couldn't remember much about it. He and I made a list on the flight home of our favorite memories from our trip together.
1. Watching Carter experience flying through clouds when we landed in Sacramento
2. Holding Carter's hand on take off and landing and thanking him for letting me and him telling me he still needs me even though he's a big boy.(priceless moment for mommy!)
3. Seeing three very happy boys reunite at the airport and smile for four days straight
4 Photographing sweet Hailey girl
5. Shopping without kids at the outlets with Marlina
6. Bawling through the end of "Marley and Me" with Marlina and Kiely
7. Going to dinner at "Panera" with my Girlfriends and getting caught up with them
8. Riding "Survivor" at Great America with the boys
9. Riding "The Demon" with Kiely and getting brain damage (twice!)
10. Trying Harry Hoffbraus roast beef sandwiches (Marlina's favorite restaraunt by her parents house-it was awesome!)
11. Seeing three boys explore in the back field with Mandy

4 boys and 1 princess
It really hit me this Sunday as I was ironing little green Easter shirts just how many boys we have! 4 of them to be exact. Four crisp green shirts and four cute argyle sweater vests. This was the first time Cole has been old enough to join in the matching his brothers craze! I love my handsome boys and adore each of them for different reasons. And Hanna what a beautiful girl you have always been and continue to be inside and out. Although we didn't get the most perfect pictures, I'm satifisfied with our efforts....after all we have four active little boys who don't love to have their pictures taken for very long!! It was a gorgeous day in St. George and we enjoyed a break from conference at the temple grounds.

I was so happy to find one of these vests for Cole at the Gymboree outlet, the other boys still fit in theirs from last year. So new shirts and a whole new look! We don't wear sweater vests for many weeks in Vegas so its nice to feel like I'm getting some more use out of them.

Girlfriends
Aspen moved in next door last summer and her and Hanna have become fast friends. It creates such a fun friendship when you can run to each others house to play for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 3 hours!! Yesterday the girls planned a surprise for the mommy's and were even calling each other before school started whispering secret plans to each other. After school they finally let us know what the surprise was: "We're twins" they announced! Not hard to do when the mommy's have become fast friends too and love to shop together at all the same stores. Lucky us to have great girlfriends right next door!
