Jack

This is Jack. He lives by us and carpools with us every morning. One day I had the primary CD playing that the Primary Presidency made for us with all of the songs for the program this year. It contains the articles of faith songs. Jack informs me he is working on number 11. What? Jack is Jakes age and in kindergarten. If Jack can do it so can the rest of my kids. Okay, maybe Josh and Cole are off the hook! Anyway, I have listened to these songs over and over. I finally learned them all myself. You'd be surprised how easy it is if you just work on them driving around. Now every morning we listen to them on the way to school. The 8 minute drive is plenty of time to run through which ever one we are trying to pass off. All because of Jack....you have inspired us to try a little harder.

So funny you should mention this...we are giving the 7 yr. olds and up memorization card key rings this Sunday as a challenge for our next Primary activity. They will each earn one water balloon for every article memorized to throw at Bro. Okuda.

The younger children can earn them as well if they get them memorized so tell them to start singing. ;)

We listen to the Primary songs in the car too! Even little Carson has most of them memorized...it's adorable! My kids were the only one to get all the songs right when we did a "singing" Bee in primary, proud mama!

We LOVE the article of faith songs!! Good idea to listen to them in the van. We've even printed them up and taped them to the back of the front passenger seat. It's amazing how fast you can learn them when you are in the van a little bit here and there.

Just wanted to let you know that when I went to Jake's class yesterday to remind them about their challenge to memorize the Articles of Faith, Jake busted out with the 4th Article like he was telling me about his favorite toy or something. WOW!! I was pretty impressed. Just as I suspected, the Chugg family has it together!
