Oh Dubrovnkik, how I love you, let me count the ways…….
Your brilliant red roofs, your craggy steps, your enchanted alley ways, your deep blue sea views, your tumultuous past, your towering bell towers, your aged doors, your quaint, fortress wall ….you are truly amazing.
We hired three taxis in Corfu to take us to a nice beach….. and off we went for a few hours of sun worshipping and sand playing. Just what we needed: a break from sightseeing! The only hitch was we were supposed to ride the bus back to the port. When it arrived we were ready waiting for it. The drivers rudely told us that we were too wet (even though there were lots of other more wet people that they allowed on), and drove off without us! It was shocking just how rude they were. We had to hurry and call some taxis and wait for them to come and then we barely made it back in time to the cruise ship!!
