My husband

His name? Jared, hon, honey, beetle, or beet (last two are from his family), they nick name EVERYBODY
How long have you been together? Married for 10.5 years
How long did you date? December of 95 is when we started dating and were married in Septmeber of 97 We were mostly on during that time, but had a few breaks too
How old is he? 33...we are the same age except for 6 weeks out of the year when I am older....he lets me have it during that 6 weeks!
Who eats more? He does hands down, Chugg men are known for how much they can eat.
Who said I love you first? He says definitely me. I remember it being around the same time
Who is taller? Jared is, thank goodness, I'm a shortie
Who can sing better? Me, but he likes to make up silly words to every day songs, the kids like it....its not my favorite thing
Who is smarter? Jared for sure duh, he's the Dr. (However, I studied Health at BYU so I like to think I know a little about his field, except for Radiology, when he starts talking that who knows what he is saying)
Who does the laundry? Me, but he does help fold it while he watches TV, but not the infamous white load, he can't stand that load with all the sock matching, but if he does happen to do it we play musical socks all week, because he doesn't know whose are whose!)
Who pays the bills? Jared. He has a system, he's tried to teach me, I wish I was more involved, but I keep telling him its more fun to spend the money than to keep up with where it needs to go
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Do you mean when you are looking at it are actually in it? If you are laying in it then Jared, but if you are standing at the end then me!
Who mows the lawn? When we had a big lawn in California he did. Now that we have mostly desert landscape and two small green patches, he still does it, but there isn't much to do! Although he does clean out the pool when the wind or Josh throws desert landscape into it.
Who cooks dinner? Me, almost always. However, on Sundays he does whip up roast and potatoes at least once a month. He even does the rolls. He's amazing, his gravy is to die for. He can also start or make any basic dinner like tacos, spaghetti, and even chicken divan. Again, he's amazing.
Who drives? Jared, I like the break when he gets to be with us.
Who is more stubborn? He is, but he is so stubborn that he would probably never admit it, but I have his two sisters to back me up on that one...thank goodness.
Who kissed who first? It was a mutual thing. I wouldn't let him kiss me for over a month and a half. He had only been home for a few months from his mission when we started dating and he had already kissed a handful of girls. I refused to be a number.
Who proposed? Jared did the first time....oh this is very long and involved...the second time we talked on the steps of his church in Farr West and kind of decided together that we were ready....or that I was ready is how the story goes!
Who has more friends? About the same, but I am more social these days since moving to LV
Who is more sensitive? That's a toughy, he's very sensitive for a guy, but I can be too about certain things
Who has more siblings? We both come from 5. And are the fourth children. It goes in exactly the same order girl boy, girl, us, boy. We have bonded to Josh since he is our fourth!
Who wears the pants? Jared about financial stuff, me about decorating and aestetic things. When it comes to disciplining the kids we have struck a good balance.

Hard to believe that he chose me! He had a reputation in California amongst a few of my military friends for being a "Superdad" and he really is. He does it all and has a great attitude 98% of the time. My kids adore him and they should he is the real deal and I couldn't ask for a greater husband, father, and friend. Thanks honey for all you do for us we LOVE you!
