Clowning around

Hanna and Jake have been playing together really well recently. Carter and I came home from soccer practice last night to an invitation to a CIRCUS right in our very own bonus room upstairs! Hanna and Jake wore these noses the whole time except when they would fall off to which Joshy would laugh out loud every time. It was a cute circus which included acts of jumping through hula hoops onto pillows, silly dance routines, and using the hula hoop as a jump rope while two clowns jumped at the same time! One of our favorite acts was of Jake doing his patented "Chris Farley imitation of run in place really fast and goofy like and then fall to the ground" it looks a lot like the dance at the gas station when Chris Farley sings to "maniac" in Tommy Boy. He came up with it all on his own (we haven't let our 4 year old actually watch Tommy Boy-were saving that piece of Americana until he's slightly older). I love when our kids entertain us and put on shows it makes me SMILE!
