I was sad not to be able to participate much in the Halloween festivities this year. Jared was a trooper taking the four kids to our ward trunk or treat and fall festival at the elementary school. I reluctantly stayed home but knew I wouldn't last ten minutes in the chaos. So by Halloween night, I was determined to walk the neighborhood and "do Halloween" with the kids. Three streets into it, I started dragging, feeling the aches and pains of my back and tummy muscles, and threw in the towel. I guess I'm not as young as I used to be.... recovering this time around has been a little slower!! I did get cute pictures and that is my favorite part. We were happy to reuse some of our boy costumes this year....a tradition that will just keep living on each year:]

The kids are darling, as usual. I've been thinking about you a lot lately and hope that you are adjusting to the new baby and being an "older mom" (even though you are totally a spring chicken!)-having Camille was totally different for me that having the boys.

darling halloween pictures. Don't worry...I really couldn't enjoy the halloween festivities either. I didn't last more than 5 minutes at Anthony's works trick or treat. And our trunk or treat just walking around the parking lot wore me out too!
SO ADORABLE! Your pics are cute...I like how Jake looks just like a pirate, holding on to the lamp post. Hang-in there girl friend, you will back into life...it's only been a few weeks!
That top picture of Cole is SOOOOOO cute! I love it. What a cute little outfit. He's adorable. Glad everyone had a fun Halloween. I mustered all the energy I could to finally finish costumes and enjoy the night myself. Exhausting but fun.
I love the pumpkin picture of Cole. You can't help but break a huge smile just looking at it. The kids are too adorable. Take a break, you totally deserve it. You will get back to everything soon enough. =)
Hi Gen,
Did Cole's outfit come with the pumpkin hat or did your friend who makes hats make the hat. Either way it's an adorable picture. Don't try to jump back too fast, everyone will expect you to go 100 miles an hour if you do! Love you, Kim
I found your blog and I am going to link it to mine. I still need to set up a play date with your little one. Thanks for bringing over the dishes. You have a beautiful family!
