Every year Grandma Karyl and Grandpa Boyd put on a carnival for all of their grandkids around the 4th of July. They have 9 kids between the two of them so you can imagine the size of this party! My kids love it and it is a very fun tradition. Every year there are games, face painting, food (cotton candy, funnel cakes, hotdogs, homemade icecream), prizes and a few new additions to make it different each year.

This water treehouse was a new thing and the kids loved it

This is Carter's cousins trying to get him to take a picture per his mother's request

Where are the gummy bears????

The whipping cream contest was for the grown ups and older grandkids (you were supposed to find the gummy bears with your teeth)

It turned into a whipping cream fight-- the Mounteers know how to have fun!! Mike is on the right, two of these are actually his own kids.

That looks like so much fun! Good memories for everyone.
Looks like everyone had a blast-
tell Jared he looks great in whipped cream!
(We're going to have to try that one at our reunion... nothing like some good, messy fun!)

I'm sure you have hundreds of pictures to post just like I do. What a great carnival! I'm sure you had a great vacation and are happy to be home!
What fun grandparents! I want to know more about the candy bomb and where I can get one!
