The King of Green

Jake has had a fettish for the color green for about a year now. It used to be orange when he was three, but now there is no mistaking it he LOVES GREEN! Anything and everything in our house that is green is automatically assumed that it is his. Cups, books, crayons...etc. Mostly its cute, but occasionally it can be tricky if someone else gets a wild hair and wants to use the green cup or plate. We've had a few break downs over it. Anyway, when I saw him wearing this shirt coloring another page with you guessed it his favorite coloring pencil, I decided to snap a shot. Almost all of his color pages look a lot like this one. All Green. He's a cutie, last night at dinner we were trying to help him rhyme words. We would say "cup" for example and he was supposed to think of something that rhymed with cup. After not much success, Jared said I'm thinking of something that rhymes with mango. Instantly Jake said, "Jango"! (Jango Fett) from Star Wars. He's also the king of Star Wars. After I read this to Jake he said "no he's not, Darth Vader is!" Never a dull moment with Jakey around, he always keeps us laughing!
