School days are here.....
I love back to school! Shopping for backpacks, shoes, getting school supplies, starting fresh, the excitement the nerves all of it! This year was a big year since Jake started kindergarten and I have just Joshy at home for a short time. Jake did great. He was really ready to go. He hopped out of the suburban and found our ward friends who were parking right next to us. He exclaimed really loud "Hey guys, I finally get to go to the big school"! Joshy and I wasted no time getting some errands done. Straight to Target, Home Goods, the post office, and then to lunch for a mommy's "Happiest Day of the Year" luncheon at Cafe Rio put on by some fun gals in the ward.

Your so lucky Jared was able to go with you for the first day of school. Hopefully Lance will be able to do that soon. I had to laugh when I saw Carter's shirt because Dustin has the exact same shirt. Hanna, I love your outfit. Im glad jakey gets to go to a big boy school now!

Jakey...you are so cute!!! Nothing will EVER change my mind about that! Hanna is adorable as well, and Carter is quite the heartbreaker. They could only be better looking if they were standing in front of Foxboro!!! Anyway, I'm so glad that your first day of school was wonderful. Ours wasn't so great thanks to a revelation by Ms. (now called "Mr.") Clark, the music teacher. What a crazy, mixed-up world we live in.

Are you so happy just having one at home, even if just for a short while? I know it seems weird around here just having Ava home. She is finally getting used to the boys not being here. What grown up kids you have and how fun that Jared got to do the first day of school!
I've loved looking at everyone's back to school pictures. Your kids are adorable as always. I'm glad Jared got to go, that made for a special day.
We do the same tradition of eating lunch on the 1st day of school w/my girly friends!(this year was red robin)

LOVE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! the kids are so excited! even though i miss them!! enjoy still having one home...i never thought i'd say it but, I miss that!!
What a great idea to have a Mom's favorite day of the year luncheon. I'm totally going to do that next year!!! Love that shirt Hanna!!
