I changed the colors on this little robot dude and spent a long time making him look cool for Carter's birthday party invitation. When I showed it to him after he got home from school one day and asked him if it was cool, he said "well maybe for Jake or Josh". Bummer.....he really is 11. We ended up using it for his invites anyway, but I knew it wasn't his favorite. So while he was at school on his birthday....I came up with this....Meet Dr. BirthdayRobotSchmirtz (We are Phineas and Ferb fans!). Well, I think I got it right this time and he smiled all day after his scavenger hunt to find his presents who were being held hostage by Dr. Birthdayrobotschmirtz! It made for a fun birthday for him.

Carter's main gift was a Nintendo DSi (he had to help pay for this) He also got a new football, some bionicles, and some new shirts.
What a great kid!!

Happy birthday Carter-11, wow! Time sure does go by fast, I remember meeting you for the first time when you were just 2-and you were hiding from your mom and dad under the kitchen table because you didn't want to eat your peanut butter sandwich! It's okay that Carter is too cool for the robot and character cakes and all that-because at least he has WAY COOL parents who know how to keep up with it all :) It looks like he had a fun party. How are all of you? We miss you guys!
