Seven Years

June 17th.....Jake's Birthday. For seven years we have enjoyed this sweet little blonde boy in our family. We celebrated by heading to Lake Mead with the Walkers and Allreds: two of our closest family friends here. It was the most amazing weather day...I could not believe it. It was a heavenly day in honor of our little sunshine birthday boy!

Cole has been furiously connected to Daddy these days. He was not content on Mommy's lap, he had to be sitting on Daddy helping drive.

We purchased this tube new this year and let me tell you we LOVE it after sinking most of the time last summer with the old leaky one.

Jakey boy had to wait ALL day to open his gifts. It was almost more than a 7 year old boy could handle. He asked me all day at the lake when we could go home and open presents. (not that he didn't enjoy it out there...he was just soooo excited!) This is one high energy kid which is what we adore about him. He was most excited about his Bionicle cruiser and Atlantis Legos and actually the slinky was a big hit....its the old school one from Target in their nostalgic toy section where you can find many old school toys from when we parents were little.
