I'm so excited to finally post our amazing trip to Hawaii. We headed out on July 5th with just Carter, Hanna, and Jake. We decided you must be able to swim well to attend this time...Josh and Cole enjoyed the week back in Utah with Gr'ma Karyl and Gr'pa Boyd.
We met up with Gr'ma and Gr'pa Jackson in Hawaii. This was Gr'ma's first visit to Hawaii (as well as our kids) which made it all the more exciting!! We arrived at Bellows Air Force Station after securing a Tahoe rental that we could all fit in together and enjoy for the week. Bellows is located on the North East side of the Island of Oahu. It has its own private beach and beachside bungalow cabins for military and family use. We were able to get two of them side by side like a duplex. They come equipped with two bedrooms, a small living area and a complete kitchen with fridge and microwave.
Oh and we forgot some of the perks: sand blowing in from all angles, ants, dirt, rough sheets, lots of other bugs, and well more SAND! Of course all these things were forgotten as soon as we walked out the back door to behold the most beautiful beach on the north shore pretty much all to ourselves! It was surreal.

All the girls got Leis at the airport - they smelled so good
The kids wasted no time getting in suits and heading to the water
It was fun to get settled in our cabins. Jake decided he could sleep in the extra room in Gr'ma and Gr'pa's cabin and have it all to himself. He was especially excited to hang up all his clothes in the closet and put them in the drawers. Jared went to see how he was coming along getting things put away and found he had hung his underwear up on a hanger in the closet....such a cute boy!!
