Hawaii Day 2 part 2 Polynesian Cultural Center

This is the funny Samoan dude who is also one of the big guys who performs in the night show called Ha:"The Breath of Life" he was demonstrating how you can make fire from the hairy stuff in side the coconut shell. He also showed how to open it squeeze the milk out and make coconut shavings. It was really cool. Then the Samoan dude down below wowed us all with his ability to climb a tree and obtain the coconut!
These guys are kinda strong

We enjoyed the parade of nations of all the polynesian islands that are represented like: Hawaii, Fiji, Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa...etc.

The Tongans like to play LOUD drums and have a good time
The New Zealand dancers used there eyes very expressively.
The grounds are so well taken care of and are so beautiful

The kids were trying to learn how to flip these New Zealand Poi balls how they did in the demonstration We each got a lei when we went in to the buffet for dinner. It had been a very humid and hot day.

Such long faces guys....I don't think it was "Wilbur"
Waiting for our turn at the buffet line filled with shredded Kahlua pork, purple rolls, salad, teriyaki chicken, salmon, and desserts.
Shake it girl....Hanna was concentrating hard to learn how to do it just right

These pineapples were filled with yummy virgin Strawberry daiquri's. Hanna of course ordered the Pina Colada she LOVES coconut!
Cute hat mom....work it girl
The kids all got Hawaiin mini tikis similar to this guy to take home for souvenirs. Carter also got this croaky frog that sounds real but is WAY to loud. Of course he LOVES it!
