While I was gone at a Relief Society Conference a few weeks ago, Joshy got his first black eye. Jared had taken all the kids to Home Depot to get some errands done. Joshy was playing 'man with no arms' and had both arms tucked away in his shirt. When Carter backed up the cart he didn't see Josh and Josh couldn't catch himself.....so down he went eyebrow planted straight into the Home Depot floor. Ouch. The scratches on his forehead are from playing at a friends house and falling off the trampoline into the rocks. You could say he's had a rough week !
It did have good timing to go with his Gangsta costume! Whenever anyone would ask about his black eye he would correct them and say "you mean my purple eye!"
Instead of celebrating Halloween at the kids school this year, they celebrated Nevada Day....when Nevada became an official state. They could only dress up in Western wear. (And to think I tried to get rid of this green cowboy hat of Hanna's from a birthday party, saying we'd never use it again).
Hanna's enjoying her 4th grade class this year. Ms. Montgomery is such a dynamic teacher!
