The flags have been on display in our front room by the entry way now for about 2 months....reminding us of what lies before us.
This year my Word of the Year is COURAGE. Courage is defined as bravery; quality of spirit which faces danger without flinching. Fortitude, Valor, dauntless, fearless and daring.
Why did I pick this word? Because Courage is what it takes to think about moving to another country. Praying to know if it is the right thing to do for your family and then accepting this challenge and adventure. Courgage is what it takes to downsize your life. Put things in storage. Donate a bunch of things you really don't need. Courage is what it takes to explain to your children that this is move is going to be a great thing that they will look back on forever and remember fondly. Even though they LOVE their lives here in Las Vegas and are not sure they want to accept this great change. It takes Courage on their part to accept and trust our judgement and opinion. Although, I wouldn't say we are perfectly dauntless, fearless, or always brave about this upcoming change......I will say that we are learning a lot about trying to be COURAGEOUS and what it takes to trust the will of our Father in Heaven as we face the next big move for our family! The CHUGG's are in the final countdown. 8 more weeks until we move to GERMANY!! Ramstein AFB here we come to start our final three years and adventure in the US Air Force.

HOw exciting and scary for your family!! Hope you have a smooth transition. I love keeping up with your family so please keep blogging. Your family has been such a super example to us and you are such a great mom. I have learned so much about being a great mom from your example! We love you guys! Good luck with everything!
You are amazing I echo the comment above...I will miss you ...it is definitely "going to be an adventure":)
BTW I just read your horrible day. You poor thing. I hate when nothing goes right....but on the bright side your pictures from the cruise are beautiful!
I am so excited for you and so jealous beyond belief at the same time. Flakes are going to Ramstein AFB too. They leave in a month I think. You are an amazing woman, Mom and friend. And the best part...to "finish your last 3 year in the military." That has to feel good. Maybe I can come and visit you?
this is all coming too fast, we're thrilled for you to have such an adventure-but are going to miss the amazing beautiful Chugg family! I know you all will adapt well though, you have a talent of making friends wherever you go.
Wow how exciting!!! A new adventure in your lives...I hope the move goes well and hope everything works out for you all. Thank you for being an inspiration :-)
Oh, I am so excited I can hardly stand it. It does take courage to get over here... but once you're here I hope you'll find it's easier to adjust than you think. It's coming so soon!!
