After Spain Jared came home all fired up about making homemade Paella. He ordered a pan and it arrived……much bigger than we expected! You can’t tell in the picture but it’s about 22 inches wide. Who better than to share a giant pan of Paella with? The Johnsons. Chris and Jared fired it up outside. Jared brought down the outdoor fire pit and cooked it over charcoal since it was such a giant pan….no German kitchen is equipped with a stove top this large. In all fairness, not many American stove tops could accommodate this either. The Paella turned out awesome. The flavor was better than we had in Spain. Lots of yummy veggies, and shrimp already beheaded.
The little boys were having wrestling matches on the trampoline while the bigger boys were playing video games. The girls were off running to and from the park playing soccer. It was a great Spring evening together.
