Medieval Festival

We spent one weekend with the Johnsons in mid July and headed to a Medieval Festival that some friends of theirs had told them about.  It was amazing!  The village people never broke character all day.  The jousting arena show was the highlight of the day.  It turned out to be a fun Saturday together!
    
Yummy food: everything from fresh cherries, baked potatoes with garlic sauce, mini sausages, seasoned mushrooms, and wildberry CREPES! 

       
 
These two guys below came right after each other in the parade.  We couldn’t help laughing at the second guy! 
         
 
After much realistic fighting…..you’ll be happy to know that good conquered evil after all! 
   
The jousting was so realistic…..wood splinters were flying, warriors getting knocked around, and colliding of horses.  It was really neat!
