Bath and Cardiff Wales

The biggest highlight of Bath England is of course the Roman Baths located by the cathedral right in the middle of town.  The Baths are quite extensive and extend to several rooms within the complex.  It was really cool checking them all out and learning about how the natural hot springs work.

Such a quaint and cute little town!

After spending the morning in Bath, we decided to make a quick trip to Cardiff Wales 1 and a half hours away.  It started raining and was pretty dreary as we were walking up to the castle in town.

Turns out it was the perfect weather for the info we received while here.  Grandpa Anderson had passed away.  Our family had been trying to reach us for two days.  We all stood outside the book store and cried and cried after hearing the news. Next we had to make plans for Jared to get back to Utah.  We were all heartbroken.  It put a damper on the rest of our trip.  Sad weather for sad news.  English Countryside 718 copyEnglish Countryside 717 copy  English Countryside 719 copy
