After several days of sightseeing, we were ready for a day at the beach. We were able to sleep in a bit and have a slow morning. The beach was only 10 minutes away from our house in Estepona. We found a great one with a little playground away from the water for the little guys and some freezing cold water for the big kids to play in! (or to torture them in as seen below!)
Chris kept the four big kids completely entertained by making up “challenge races” and seeing who would win. The one below they had to run to the water get soaking wet, run back to where they started, roll in the sand until they were covered, and then back to the water to rinse off, then back up to Chris. Chris was the videographer for the week and is great at coming up with ways to make the home videos more exciting then “here we are at such and such place”.
These four are totally the BIG KIDS and almost inseparable.
Those are giant pectoralis muscles and a six pack. I don’t know what you all were thinking….
It got a little windy and cold, so we headed back to the house for showers and some more freezing cold fun in the unheated pool.
This was one happy man this week. Back in his element. He wore many hats this week: Tour guide, Event Coordinator, Translator, Paella King, Awesome Dad, Hot husband, and Chauffeur.
After getting all 11 kids cleaned up, settled down, and fed, the four grown-ups hit Marbella for some Spanish food…..or Italian as it turned out. Pizza and Chicken Parmesan. Yummy. It was a relaxing day for sure!
