The Johnsons drove up to Schwedelbach shortly after we got our shipment to spend Family Home Evening with us. We had a great time giving them a tour of the house (still only partially put together) and then taking them on our favorite walk through Schwedelbach. The walk starts at the fields off the back of our house and swings by these geese.
Then past these fields to visit these bunnies. There are a lot of bunnies in several different cages. The kids love them.
Then you pass by the edge of town by this Welcome to Schwedelbach metal sign showing the agricultural symbols of our village to these lovely fields:
And nestled between these corn fields and these beautiful wild flowers......you find
THIS!!!!!
We love the outdoor soccer pitch that was just recently put in last Spring, that the Schwedelbachers are very proud of. I think they knew I was coming and thought it would be the perfect "village warming gift". They were spot on.
After a spirited game of soccer with all the kids participating and Chris who is the non injured adult right now and quite proud of that, we headed back to the house. A perfect evening with perfect friends. Its so fun to live by you guys!!
