Although we got lost on the way to Idar Oberstein where this beautiful hike and castle ruins are located, we finally made it and enjoyed the scenary. Idar Oberstein is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. My GPS hijacked me and took me to a totally different area while everyone else in the group ended up driving right to the valley where this hike was nestled. It was a bit of a frustrating experience getting lost in this bigger town in another country (not being able to stop and ask for help because of the language barrier), for an hour and having a child threatening to be car sick the whole time, but thankfully we got there and all turned out okay!
I loved this bridge up above
We have become fast friends with the Flakes. They are such a cute family and have kids similar ages. They are exactly opposite of us. 4 girls and one boy. The boy is second just like Hanna is.
Josh and Kelsey have so much fun together
