Is that a pet?
So my fun and cute neighbor was over the other day and says, "Ohhh , is that a pet?" Umm no I'm thinking since we don't currently own any pets. Then I spot what she is talking about. A giant grasshopper walking along the curtain rod and blending into my green curtains. I decided to ignore it until it came down so I could shew it out the door. So it ended up coming down and I shewed it out the door gently....or not so gently, but it got out side anyway. Then I ran to grab my camera to take a photo of it outside (leaving the door wide open mind you). I can't find the thing outside and decide it has jumped away frightened by its indoor adventure. Then a little while later I her Josh exclaiming, "Mom that thing is on the tv now!" Sure enough yes it was perched right on top for front row seats to whatever kid show was playing at the time. So this time using the same method as before, I shew it out the door with a paper kind of cupping it and sending it in the direction I'd like it to go. It got to the point where it was fighting me and somehow ended up between my two legs on the kitchen floor. Then it started trying to leap and kept hitting my legs. Talk about a crazy funny sight it must have been seeing me dance and that thing sorta attacking me but not on purpose! Anyway, he finally got shewed out after my shrieks and being way grossed out that it had touched me. And yes I remembered to close the door this time! I did get a photo and when he's not attacking me, guess what? He's pretty cool and such a fun color. We are not used to bugs in our house. We've really had an adjustment moving here with all the bugs that get inside. We are used to our Pest Controlled Las Vegas home:)
