Hanna had all the church girls over during the last week before school to get to know them a little better and have some fun. She and I planned the party for weeks in advance. We looked through American Girl Magazines and Family Fun to find some new and different summer games to play.
We got a few snacks to eat: watermelon, veggie tray, grapes, cookies, cracker/cereal trail mix, had soda to drink and made pina coladas (Hanna was insistent on this on)! It was lots of fun!
Emma, Katelyn, Hanna, Katie, Megan, Emily, Sierra, and Cathryn. The Johnsons were really nice to make the drive to come.
The first game was wet sponge golfing, which was going great until the crazy brother's showed up with self filled water balloons and wiped out the golf game!
The girls got a little wet....some more than others.
Then they played one handed pull the sweat pants off one person onto the other person while being timed to find the fastest partners.
After finger painting, they played put the wet dots on your partner as fast as you can to see who has the most in the end
Mission accomplished.....Hanna is smiling.
