We started at Sacre Ceour and Mont Marche. On top of Montmartre hill sits Sacre Ceour Basilica. This hill has also been known for its Art influence for years. The likes of Salvidor Dali, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent Van Gogh, all had studios here at one time. Currently one can experience the "artsy culture" of Paris by visiting here while contemporary artists paint in the streets surrounded by quaint cafes with lots of outdoor seating facing the art square. Its always a fun time exploring and purchasing Art, while experiencing Montmartre.
Mom and I stayed down while Kandra, Patrick, and Hanna climbed the basilica to get the great views from above. While mom and I were waiting, this super, fancy Rolls Royce, rolled up. We got some fun pictures of it with the reflection of the Basilica. Can you spot Kandra and Hanna?
Hanna was super excited because we purchased her a piece of art work. It is a pretty pink and purple Watercolor of a sunset over the Loire Valley in France.
Before heading back to our apartment, we decided to hit the Arch de Triomphe. It was really cool at night before and after the sun went down! Mom did so well with her can and wheel chair. We were able to get her an elevator up most of the Monument and then she just had to walk up a few stairs. She’s a trooper!
