After playing outside in the yard all morning (view from the front door patio), we decided to hop in the vans and go for a short outing down the road at this cute little village that we had passed several times during the week.
Alet Les Bains is built on the Aude River and you take a bridge over the river to enter. It is a little village built around its Abbey. Cute and fun….will we ever get tired of these quaint villages?
The kids got to monkey around here a lot…..since we had the place to ourselves pratically!
After playing at the park for a bit, Cole came running over saying I gotta pee! Then he immediately tells us “oh wait I know the perfect spot”….. (I’m afraid he’s become a little too comfortable with the Euro- “peen” ways of finding a bush. I guess we were a little surprised when we beheld his perfect spot! Right by the road with the coverage. Nice.
Jake found this awesome pine cone that had been squashed flat. It looked exactly like a rose! Clever mother nature.
Chris and Jared are always so good to play tag with the kids for a LONG time!
