Prince Albert I built this impressive, aquarium in 1910 which hangs right on the cliff’s edge. Captain Jacques Cousteau directed it for 32 years. It houses 2,000 different sea specimens and represents 250 species. We had a great visit there! We haven’t done this kind of museum for a few years with our kids since landing in Europe. Europe itself has kind of been our museum! It was a nice change. The kids were so grateful and really enjoyed themselves.
We found this great park located on top of the museum right overlooking the Mediterranean Sea!
After a great dinner of Pizza and goat cheese salad in Villafranche we got some night time photos of the wharf.
