Missy and Jen collaberated together to throw us a super going away bash. Jen made this "fancy" USA dessert for the kids to devour! So crafty!
One of the best parts of the night was when almost everyone had gone home. A few late nighters were still around: Allreds, Chuggs, and Whites if I remember right. Doug got going on his story tellin'. No one tells a story quite like Doug. He brought out some of our favorites. The Mace incident, "CAMP-CAMP" (a summer camp for children with severe disabilites that Doug and Missy helped at years ago) stories, and Debbie (Doug's sister) stories. Doug has a way of finding the humor in things and sharing it like no one else can. It was a perfect evening, the kind you don't want to end. It ended in our children collapsing on the ground at our feet saying "Can we Please go Home?" Miraculously the Bouncy House survived the night.
The Bounce House kept the kids occupied.....There were about 50 kids running around that night

what an awesome goodbye party. The cake is so clever--made out of pre made hostess snacks, right?
