Hanna The Bird Girl.....Seussical Jr. June 10th, 2011 Hollywood Kids

 The night of the performance, there were no pictures or video allowed.  So the week before I attended the dress rehearsal of Hanna's show and got some snap shots.  Seussical is such a cute story.  It has all the Dr. Seuss Characters like Mazie, Horton, The Who's, and The Cat in the Hat.  There are also the Wickersham Brothers, Gertrude McFuzz, and The Bird Girls.
This was Hanna's first semester of the "older enter by audition" only class.  It was a big step up for Hanna in practice time and talent level.  It was nice to have a lot of older roll models as she was one of the youngest.  She was amazing!  She has worked hundreds of hours practicing and singing the songs around the house and in her bedroom going over the choreography.  It was not easy!  She was cast as a Bird Girl which she thought would be a minor roll,  but turns out that she was on stage for almost every number.  Which meant lots of dancing and back up singing.  We are so proud of her!

 After the big show!  Paige and Aspen came to see the super star.  They changed the colors of Bird Girl's around for the big night.  Hanna got to where the bright blue which is one of her favorite colors right now!

 This is Hanna's role model and first HollyWood Kids teacher, Ms. Jessica.  She was also in our ward here in Las Vegas until she moved to Utah about a year ago.  She flew in for the performance.  Hanna loves and adores her.  She is very talented herself.

The caliber of the show was amazing that night.  I was overwhelmed with how good these kids are.  Some of the kids are with talent agencies and are auditioning in LA for show pilots and movies.  Hanna we think you are amazing.  You will always be our "Little STAR".

Only I attended the second show (there were 5 and 8 pm performances).  After the show they had cake for the kids and there were lots of hugs and pictures.  Then the tears started.  Ohhh how the tears flowed from Hanna's eyes. A very long day (call time of 9 am) I'm sure added to the emotions!  She just loves Hollywood Kids.  Its her favorite thing in life!   It was an emotional night for her.
